Elgin police officers responded Monday evening to a report of shots fired in the area of Park Street and Gifford Street in Elgin.
At approximately 8:07pm on Monday, police arrived on the scene and were able to confirm that a shots fired incident had occurred. Police found an undisclosed amount of property damage from the gunshots. No injuries were reported.
This is the 14th gunshot incident in Elgin this year.
