Abbey Farms in Aurora is well-known for its fall Pumpkin Daze festival and its holiday festivities.
But beginning in February, it’s offering is expanding with the unveiling of Gather+Sip – a new suburban destination for small events that feature live music, cooking demos, painting classes, and more.
Upcoming Gather+Sip events include:
- Paint Your Pet (Feb 3)
- Mixology (Feb 10)
- Hands-On Charcuterie (Feb 17)
- Gardening Prep (April 14)
- Monk Mixers (Every Fourth Thursday, starting Feb 24)
In addition, every Friday night will feature live music with a Fancy Flatbread menu. First up is The Downtown Charlie Brown Blues Band, on February 4.
Most events include an appetizer or drink or both – and the Emporium Café is always open.
Unwind on Saturdays to an old-fashioned board game and a visiting trunk show artisan – all while sampling the monk-made Marmion Abbey Ale, or the Marmion Abbey wines from California, or Marmion Abbey coffee from Guatemala.
