Elgin police responded to a shots fired incident on the city’s west side yesterday morning. It was the 56th such incident in Elgin in 2021.
On Tuesday morning, November 2, at 7:29 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Pauline Drive for a report of shots fired.
Evidence of gunfire was located. There are no injuries, but property damage has been reported at this time.
Initial information gathered at the scene indicates that the parties involved are known to each other and that this is an isolated incident.
