The Naperville Police Department recently completed two independent child pornography investigations, resulting in the arrests of two Naperville men.
On Oct. 7, 2021 the police arrested a 41 year-old Naperville man who lives in the 800 block of Mt. Vernon Court in Naperville. He has been charged with 10 felony counts (Class X) of Child Pornography-Reproduce or Distribute-Video.
This investigation was initiated in January of 2021 after the NPD received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The subsequent investigation led to the charges in this incident.
On Oct. 11, 2021 the NPD arrested a 20 year-old Naperville man who lives in the 900 block of Creekside Circle in Naperville. Patel has been charged with four felony counts (Class 2) of Child Pornography-Possess Visual Reproduction on Computer-Victim Under 13.
This separate investigation was initiated back in October of 2019 after the Naperville Police Department received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Again, the subsequent investigation led to charges in this incident.
