On Saturday, October 9, an event celebrating the public’s appreciation for law enforcement will be held at Panton Mill Park in South Elgin from1-5pm.
This free-admission community event with the South Elgin and Elgin Police Departments will feature a “Peace with Police” ceremony, BBQ, drinks and live music by Smokin’ Gunz.
Music
Smokin’ Gunz is a Midwest regional country band based out of Schaumburg. It is currently celebrating its 22nd year of bringing great country covers and originals to the Midwest.
Food and Drink
Food and drinks will be provided by RK’s Bar and Grill in South Elgin, and Cesaroni Real Pit Barbeque, with its one-of-a-kind, signature pulled pork sandwiches topped with a pineapple slice and served on a beautiful brioche bun.
Classic Cars
Finally, while enjoying great bbq and a nice cold brew check out the classic and muscle car display all afternoon.
