On Monday, August, at approximately 11:00 a.m., authorities located the body of 58-year-old Lisa M. Raska during an extensive search of a heavily wooded area near Prospect Avenue and North Avenue in Streamwood. Her cause of death is unknown pending an autopsy.
At the moment, police do not suspect foul play.
Raska was first reported missing by a family member on Saturday, July 31, at approximately 11:50 a.m. She was last seen leaving her residence on foot at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to conduct an autopsy sometime in the near future. Streamwood Police Department will be conducting the investigation due to the death occurring in their jurisdiction, with the assistance of the Bartlett Police Department.
