Aurora’s Wednesdays at the Plaza will present Mirabelle Skipworth from 7-9pm.
Mirabelle Skipworth is an Oswego, IL Native who has played throughout the Chicagoland area as a solo singer/songwriter for a few years now~ and occasionally backed by a band (Mirabelle and The Paper Boats). Her music is rooted in folk music and draws inspiration from rootsy and story-telling-driven music. She occasionally draws on her own experiences, but thrives off of helping to tell the stories many can’t do themselves.
Her album, Paraphrased in a Poet, was released Spring of 2019 (available on all streaming platforms). It is based on the concept of storytelling and uses classic folk influences.
Wednesdays at the Plaza are held at Millennium Plaza, 21 S. Stolp Ave. in Aurora.
