Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis announced that Miguel Ortega-Uribe (dob: 05/07/1994, 212 Keck Ave) of Aurora, Illinois was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections by Judge Robert Pilmer for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance as part of a negotiated plea agreement.
According to Weis, Ortega-Uribe was arrested in December of 2018 after a month-long investigation by the Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team (CPAT). During the investigation, Ortega-Uribe delivered over 25 grams of cocaine to an undercover agent outside a business in Oswego.
Ortega-Uribe was arrested and taken into custody without incident. The court case against Ortega-Uribe was continued multiple times due in part to the pandemic and resulting limited court proceedings.
Weis commended the work of CPAT in taking yet another drug dealer off the streets of Kendall County.
“It is important to remember the devastating impact that drugs, like cocaine, have on our community. Some argue that we shouldn’t be so tough on drug dealers. I, however, having seen firsthand the harm caused by these criminals, pledge to continue to aggressively prosecute drug dealers with the goal of reducing the negative impact they can have in our great county.”
The case was prosecuted by Assistant State’s Attorney Frank Gorup, and Mr. Ortega-Uribe was defended by Liam Dixon.

Community policing is directly related to that of the community and those citizens and public service employees interests. The article states an opinion of a community police effort too cut down crime in the local community however in no way states a direct impact by the individual at hand adversely affecting any one in the community.
Moreover,
What is stated is an assumption by the local government agencies involved that the said offenses are deviating the local community. No reference is made to any trusted resource the team extends too there said point.
Furthermore,
I find that there is need for the units CPAT and they should be commended for there service and professionalism. However, when looking too Robbie Bishop may we never forget that was not his thought process.
Finally,
If ever there is an us against Presidents in which any member of the unit is involved it would substantially in inverse way non-contribute too Allocating to that of the community instead it would be a community police by the police simply stated people only need to be police so much is there is a need.
