    EPD Responds To Shots Fired

    The Elgin Police Department reported that at approximately 2:21am this morning they responded to a report of shots fired.

    Upon arrival at the 600 block of Villa Street, evidence of a shooting and property damage were located.

    No injuries have been reported at this time.

    This is the 34th reported incident of shots fired in Elgin this year, keeping the city on pace to match or break it’s 2016 record of 64 for the full year.
