In collaboration with the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission, the YWCA of Elgin, Special Needs for Special Children, the Windy City Bulls, and O.N.E., get in on the fun and pride as participants travel through the communities of Elgin’s African Descendants, the 54 Flag salute to Mother Africa, and all those that paved the way, with Elgin’s Annual Juneteenth Motorcade and Festivities.
The motorcade will assemble at 12 noon on Saturday, and at 1pm it will be on the road. Absolutely no one will be allow to join the Motorcade en route.
Upon its return, the Festivities will be ready and popping off at O.N.E Fitness Center. Music, food and fun for all ages. It’s also Fight Night. Reserve your spot around the ring.
Come celebrate our 2021 Freedom Day, and in remembrance of all the loved ones that have left us far too soon.

Motorcade drivers, make sure your name is listed, get there early, check in and get your flag. For those that do, decorate your cars as this is a celebration of Juneteenth, and you will become part of Elgin’s history.
