After a grueling 15 month shutdown, the Arcada Theatre has announced it will reopen in July. Ron Onesti, President & CEO of Onesti Entertainment, stated, “We are so excited to be bringing live music back. Throughout our shutdown, I continuously heard about the emptiness people felt without it, and now it’s back! Now it is time to let the healing begin!” Most of the shows that were postponed from 2020 and the beginning of 2021 have been rescheduled, and are now back on sale at www.oshows.com.
The theatre’s grand reopening party will be Friday, July 9th with Leonid & Friends. Onesti stated, “It is one of the most exciting tributes to the band CHICAGO in the world, and loved by the actual band Chicago. They have sold out every time they have played the Arcada Theatre.”
The theatre’s opening weekend will include two Leonid & Friends concerts and a Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone concert. Onesti is busy filling the schedule with rescheduled shows, and will fill in any gaps with local tribute bands.
Onesti also stated, “We have many new things to share with our customers after our monstrous renovations are close to completion. New restrooms, HVAC, new restaurants and bars, vintage pinball machines, video gaming…even themed hotel suites. So much to come back to!”
The theatre also plans to announce another 20+ added shows to the 2021 concert schedule next week. Details we will be announced on oshows.com.
