The Geneva Chamber of Commerce has released the long-awaited complete schedule for the annual Swedish Days festival.

While the full schedule of activities is available at genevachamber.com (choose “Swedish Days” under Chamber Highlights), here are some highlights.

    Shopping & Treasures
Shoppers look forward each year to merchant side-walk sales offering “must have” bargains
in Geneva’s 100+ specialty shops. Enjoy entertainers, on select corners in the downtown
area, as you peruse the shops during Moonlight Madness on Thursday evening where shops
are open late. You will still be able to find that one-of-a-kind item through Sunday.

    Entertainment
The Swedish Days Car Show is back on S. Third Thursday from 5-8 pm. Concerts on the
Lawn commences Thursday, Friday and Saturday on the north Courthouse Lawn. Saturday
& Sunday, the south side of the lawn brings Swedish excitement with games, dancers,
    singers and Vikings!

Dala-Palooza debuts on Saturday. This ticketed event brings live music to the Kane County
Cougar stadium. ARRA and Trippin’ Billies along with Lisa Thomen and Elise Flagg Dance
Studio provides the perfect afternoon. Food and drinks available to purchase.  Click here for more information.

    Toast to Swedish Days
The Craft Beer Tent is back, bigger and in a new location. Join us on James Street all four
days. Penrose Brewing, Stockholm’s, Art History Brewing and The Beer Cellar will be
serving up their favorites. Food available to purchase. Select evenings will also have
    entertainment.

    Activities For Young Visitors
June 25 is “Kids’ Day.” In a new location at Geneva Public Library, kids can stay busy from
10 am-3 pm with activities both inside and outside. This year features even more exciting
    booths, games and new doings.

Swedish Days is all over Geneva, including the Geneva Commons. Saturday is Swedish Days
Family Fest. Bring your family for a free day of fun. Events, including a car show presented
by The Greater Illinois Region Classic Car Club of America, food trucks, dog adoption event,
School of Rock performance, author readings and more will take place by the covered
    pergola and throughout the Commons.

Spin, whirl and twirl at the Carnival opening at 11 am on Thursday.

Come for the Run, Stay for the Fun
Located along the scenic Fox River in Geneva, the Swedish Days 5K Lopp promises an
unbelievable race experience. As part of the Swedish Days Festival we encourage you to
tie-in with the Scandinavian theme with your attire.  Click here for more information.

    Got Chocolate!
On Sunday, join in on the Choklad Crawl. Fifteen businesses will tempt all your senses with
chocolate inspired items. Tickets, if available, can be purchased on our website. This event
is very close to selling out.

    Restaurants, Pizzerias & Pubs
Don’t forget all the fine restaurants in Geneva. From casual bistros to 5-star formal dining, a
day in Geneva isn’t complete without sampling one or more of our fine restaurants and
eateries. Or stop by one of the beer gardens that will offer good food, drink, and
entertainment during the festival. Visit genevachamber.com for a listing of our 40+
    restaurants, pizzerias and pubs.

Swedish Days is June 24-27, 2021,  in and around Geneva. Visit genevachamber.com for what, when, where and tickets.
