Diva Montell and Jonny Lyons to Perform at St. Charles Weddings and Events Walk

As part of the St. Charles Weddings and Events Walk this Saturday, May 22, visitors will be serenaded by two unique Chicago talents – Diva Montell and Jonny Lyons (as Elvis).

Diva Montell, a Chicago-based, classically-trained vocalist, is a dynamic and versatile performer who has played with or fronted for some of the giants of American music: Michael Bolton, IL Volo, KC & The Sunshine Band, The Drifters & The Jersey Boys.  She is the recipient of the 2011 Leonardo DaVinci Award for Performing Arts, as well as the 2017 Joseph Cardinal Bernardin Humanitarian Award in Entertainment.

“I, as a Chicago area vocalist, have spent my entire life as an entertainer. VERSATILITY best describes me as a vocalist. From Sarah Brightman, Celine Dion, Donna Summer, Whitney Houston, all the way to Ann Wilson, as a trained opera singer I have not decided what I love more… so I do it all,” she says.

Jonny Lyons specializes in tributes, specifically Elvis (who he will be performing as in St. Charles) and Johnny Cash.  Lyons and his 5-piece show band, Jonny Lyons and the Pride, entertain audiences throughout North America playing a mixture of standards and original music written by Lyons, all with a touch of nostalgia.

Montell and Lyons will be performing during the fashion show portion of the St. Charles Weddings & Events Walk.  The fashion show will take place at the end of the walk at Club Arcada Speakeasy and Restaurant at the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles, starting at 1:30.
