Chicago Steel playoff tickets will go on sale at 10:00 AM CT on Wednesday, April 21 with tickets available for the best-of-three Eastern Conference Semifinals, starting on Friday, April 30. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance due to limited spectator capacity of 25%, per State of Illinois guidelines.
For the second time in as many seasons, the Steel were crowned Anderson Cup Champions, the regular season title in the United States Hockey League. With a current record of 36-11-3-2 (77 pts) and a points percentage of .740, Chicago clinched the #1 overall seed, securing home ice advantage through the duration of the postseason.
The Eastern Conference Semifinals are set to begin with Game 1 at 7:05 pm CT on Friday, April 30 and Game 2 at 7:05 pm CT on Saturday, May 1 at Fox Valley Ice Arena with opponent yet to be determined between the Dubuque Fighting Saints and Team USA (U17) as those clubs compete for the fourth and final spot in the Eastern Conference. Game 3, if necessary, will be played on Sunday, May 3 at 7:05 pm CT on Steel home ice. All three potential games are presented by River Front Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram.
Tickets are available for between $10-$15 for the Eastern Conference Semifinals, with suites and Budweiser Lounge seating available for $25 per ticket.
Up to 25% spectator capacity is permitted at Fox Valley Ice Arena with seating arranged in pods, temperature checks at the gate and masks required to ensure the safety of spectators, players and staff.
Tickets will be available by phone at 855-51-STEEL and online at ChicagoSteelHockeyTeam.com. Playoff tickets will also be available in person at the Chicago Steel Box Office at Fox Valley Ice Arena this Friday and Saturday starting at 10:00 AM each day, and starting at 10:00 AM on the day of each playoff home game. At this time, only tickets for the Eastern Conference Semifinals will be put on sale. Should the Steel advance, the Eastern Conference Final will be a best-of-three series played from Friday, May 7 through Monday, May 10 with two of the three games at Fox Valley Ice Arena.
The Clark Cup Final is scheduled to be a best-of-five series with a 2-2-1 format contested from Friday, May 14 through Tuesday, May 25.
Chicago hosts the final games of the 2020-2021 regular season on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24 with both games starting at 7:05 pm CT against the Muskegon Lumberjacks.
