Much like his Cubs counterpart Kyle Hendricks yesterday, White Sox ace Lucas Gilolito got shelled before he’d had his first cup of coffee this morning, giving up 6 runs in the first inning of an 11-4 loss to the Boston Red Sox.

After Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez cranked a 398 foot homer to lead off the 2nd, Gilotio’s day was done.

White Sox right fielder Adam Eaton was responsible for 3 of the visitors’ 4 runs, with two RBI doubles and an RBI groundout in the 7th.

The White Sox depart Fenway with a split of the 4-game series.
