White Sox All-Start short stop Tim Anderson greeted Red Sox starter Tanner Hough with a first-pitch homer to start off the game. White Sox starter Dallas Keuchel pitched well, giving up 2 runs in five innings to get the win.
The game was the the first of a doubleheader and thus lasted only 7 innings. In the second game, the White Sox lead 4-1 in the 5th.
Yasmani Grandal had an RBI double and Yoán Moncada drove in a run with a single for the White Sox, who had lost three straight.
