The Chicago White Sox continued their somewhat disappointing start to the season by losing 7-3 after the Boston Red Sox scored 4 runs in the eighth to seal Chicago’s 8th loss in 14 games.

The game was tied after 7 before White Sox relievers Codi Heuer and Jose Ruiz combined to give up 4 runs in the 8th, with the big blow coming when Xander Bogaerts hit a ground rule double against Ruiz to score 3.

White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Cease pitched well, giving up 2 runs in 6 innings, resulting in a no-decision.

The White Sox play Boston again tomorrow at Fenway.
