What’s old is new again! A true antiques store, featuring everything old, has opened in the Fox Valley area. ANTIQUES of NAPERVILLE, located in the historic 1860’s Beidleman Furniture building at 239 S. Washington, offers an outstanding variety of items for every taste, every generation. From “Primitives to Mid-Century Modern”, the store prides itself in staying true to the antique business.
Just steps away from the Riverwalk in the heart of Downtown Naperville, ANTIQUES is loaded with treasures you just don’t find under one roof. Looking for a late 1800’s sugar cane cutter? Lockers from Naperville Central High School 1970’s remodel? A swinging porch bench like your grandmother had? A one-horse-open-sleigh? These and other standard antiques have been, or are currently featured in the shop. What is a “standard antique”? Come visit and find out. Collectibles, home décor, jewelry, advertising, breweriana, furniture, glassware, radios, lodge and fishing, cast iron fencing, Hawaiiana…all genuine articles, all in one place. The list is long and every changing!
Vintage Finds, LLC, which opened its flagship ANTIQUES store in Naperville less than 6 months ago, is owned by Eric Jungnickel, a longtime Fox Valley resident. When asked when he started collecting, he points out he still has the ticket stub to his first baseball game in 1972. While that is not for sale, many other sports collectibles litter the shop.
