    A timely issue to note: Carl Flaks, life member and past President of the Elgin History Museum Board of Directors, passed away on December 21, 2020. His memorial service is for immediate family only, but it will be live streamed on the First Congregational Church You Tube channel on Saturday, January 9 at 1:30pm.

    VIRTUAL EVENT – Elgin Time presented by Bill Briska

    The second edition of Elgin Time: A History of the Elgin National Watch Company, 1864-1969 features more photos and more information on how the company ended. Elgin historian Bill Briska discusses the overall history of the company and new details on the pension fight. Please register on the Museum’s website.
