Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark In Lake Geneva

From pools to playgrounds to award-winning restaurants and spa, both resorts are fully open as of last week – time to pack the car!

As of June 15, Lake Geneva’s Grand Geneva Resort & Spa and Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark have reopened their doors with the introduction of the CleanCare Pledge which ensures enhanced cleanliness procedures and social-distancing safety measures.

Social-distancing is easy (and fun) at a 1,300 acre property. Grand Geneva offerings include plenty of outdoor experiences such as miles of beautiful Wisconsin hiking, mountain bike trails, a relaxing resort pool, and motorized scooter rentals. In addition to its luxury suites and guest rooms, the resort also offers guests private villa accommodations. There’s also the Well Spa + Salon which is now offering its full service menu with social distancing restrictions, a large fitness facility, plus dining experiences at all of the resort restaurants. Grand Geneva is also home to social-distancing friendly sports with its championship golf courses plus tennis and basketball courts. Guests who book the Stay & Play Free offer enjoy a free round of golf when visiting midweek.

And with its reopening, Grand Geneva Resort & Spa is excited to finally share the news that it has again received the honor of a AAA Four Diamond Award. According to AAA, this prestigious acknowledgement is awarded to hotels with upscale style and amenities with the right touch of service. AAA held over 58,000 inspections for the 2020 awards.

Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark also has news to share, having been awarded silver in Travel Pulse’s 2020 Travvy Award for best domestic waterpark – an award selected by industry professionals including travel advisors and agents.

From pools to playgrounds, there is plenty of family fun to be had at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark. There’s the award-winning waterpark Moose Mountain Falls, mini-golf, an arcade, plus all-suite accommodations for a home-away-from-home experience.

With gas prices more favorable than they’ve been in years plus the desire for a much-needed long vacation, Americans are expected to pack their cars and get back to the classic road trip this summer and fall. A recent travel survey from The U.S. Travel Association and MMGY Travel Intelligence revealed that 68% of participants currently prefer traveling in their own vehicle – an opportunity to explore some of the country’s award-winning destinations within driving distance of home. Located just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee, these two resorts are perfect for the summer family road trip. Time to pack the car!
