It’s Not Too Early to Plan Your Valentine’s Getaway

Baker House 1885 is an experience not to be missed with costumed wait staff and opulent decor of each individually decorated parlor, serving an eclectic menu of small and big plates. Pier 290 is a progressive American restaurant with beautiful views of Geneva Lake.  

Special Events, Entertainment & Activities

Events: Combine your romantic getaway with one of the many special events or activities offered in the Lake Geneva area. The U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition (taking place Jan 31 – Feb 4) is a must see with works of snow sculpted art lining the shores of downtown Lake Geneva. Or see the beauty of gigantic kite displays and airborne performances by world-class kite teams during Sky Circus on Ice held at Lake Lawn Resort (Feb 17 & 18).

Entertainment: With its art gallery, recording studio and live music, wine tasting at Studio Winery is a must. Other live entertainment options include Fireside Dinner Theater, Tristan Crist Magic Theatre, and  Dancing Horses Theatre. For couples seeking more activity, zip lining with Lake Geneva Canopy Tours, ice skating at one of the many area rinks, and skiing at The Mountain Top at Grand Geneva Resort & Spa are great options.  

Couples Cooking Classes: Sign up for a Valentine themed couples cooking class offered by the Lake Geneva School of Cooking. The My Funny Valentine dinners include a four-course meal, wine tasting, and a night full of celebrating love and laughter. Classes are $85 and $95 per person.

Spa: Consider a couple massage or other relaxing spa treatments at one of the boutique or full service spas in the Lake Geneva area. Clear Waters Salon & Day Spa and Mia Faccia offer full service salon and day spa services with a full range of beauty treatments for those ready for some pampering. The Abbey Resorts Avani Spa and The Well Spa + Salon at Grand Geneva Resort will have special treatments that celebrate the month of love.

Shopping: Shop the quaint downtown for jewelry, home décor, antiques, art, wine and more. One-of-a-kind shops such as Brick & Mortar Home, Cornerstone Shop & Gallery, Maple Park Antiques, Thompson Art Gallery, and Delaney Street Mercantile welcome visitors with unique offerings and friendly service.
