Kids invited to explore vehicles at free Touch a Truck event

Kids of all ages are invited to put their imagination in gear at the Batavia Park District’s annual Touch-A-Truck event on Friday, May 11.

This year’s event is featuring new extended hours and location due to construction taking place at the Eastside Community Center during the month of May. Kids can explore vehicles of all shapes and sizes from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Lodge at Laurelwood, located at 800 N. River Street.

Vehicles may include a crane, fire truck, police car, dump truck and more! The event is free. Parent supervision is required, and cameras are highly recommended.

In case of inclement weather, the event will take place on Friday, May 18 from 10:00 am to noon pm at the Lodge. Touch-a-Truck is sponsored by Therapy Care.

For more information please call 630-879-5235 or visit www.bataviaparks.org.
