Lake Geneva Restaurant Week Returns with More Food and Fun

Get ready to satisfy your taste buds in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Lake Geneva Restaurant Week returns for its fourth year with more food and fun.

New this year, the Taste of Lake Geneva, held on Saturday, June 2, will kick off this celebration of food that runs through Sunday, June 10.

Those who take advantage of the Taste of Lake Geneva on Saturday, June 2, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. get to sample their way through some of the areas best restaurants, enjoy food demos, live music, beer and wine. Admission is only $2 and food samples range from $3 to $9. The icing on the cake for this fun foodie event is the beautiful lakeside setting found at Flat Iron Park.

Lake Geneva Restaurant Week, running Sunday, June 3 through Sunday, June 10, includes about twenty-five spots to dine with special prix-fixe meals for breakfast at $8, two-course meals for $10 at lunch and three-course meals for $25 or $35 at dinner. American, Italian, pizza, seafood, steak and other cuisine will be dished up from restaurants set in luxury resorts to those overlooking the lake, to those in the walkable downtown area and everything in between. From fine dining and family friendly to bistros and the pub and grill, be sure to plan ahead and check out the list of participating restaurants and their special menus at www.visitlakegeneva.com/restaurantweek. Reservations are recommended as this event attracts thousands of residents and visitors.

The Charity Check component of Lake Geneva Restaurant Week, made possible by Lake Geneva Country Meats, gives diners the opportunity to vote for a participating charity to receive a $5,000 donation. So end each meal by casting your ballot to support one of this year’s non-profit organizations: Walworth County Walk to End Alzheimer’s, Open Arms Free Clinic, Tree House Child & Family Center, Big Foot Emergency Food Pantry, and Kisses from Keegan & Friends a Pediatric Cancer Foundation.

In addition to food, Lake Geneva Restaurant Week offers special events and activities. Options include wine tastings, cooking classes, escape room mysteries, zip line and dine, golf, live music, and more. Lake Geneva Cruise Line boats will also be running so consider a sightseeing tour. The popular Black Pointe Estate tour includes a 45 minute narrated boat tour from the Riviera docks to Black Point Estate where you take a guided tour of the mansion built as a summer home in 1888 by Chicago beer tycoon Conrad Seipp. Or do some boutique shopping in the walkable downtown filled with specialty shops and boutiques offering antiques, jewelry, clothing, home decor, outdoor gear and more.

Lake Geneva Restaurant Week is the perfect reason for a long weekend getaway, or arrive mid-week for less restaurant and hotel reservation competition. Several area resorts and hotels are offering special packages that include savings or extra amenities during your Restaurant Week stay.
