Celebrate American Craft Beer Week on May 11 at The Finery

Blue Goose Market and The Finery Restaurant Host Limited Release Craft Beer Dinner

The excitement about craft beer keeps on brewing. While overall beer sales volume decreased in the U.S. in 2015 by .2%, sales volume for craft beer grew 12.8%, according to Brewers Association. The U.S. now has over 4,200 small and independent craft brewers.

Blue Goose Market in Downtown St. Charles, IL holds one of the best craft beer selections in the area. "When I took over leadership about three years ago at Blue Goose Market, I decided to expand our craft beer selection. I wanted to bring it to the people, because the craftsmanship in these beers just really changes a meal," said Paul Lencioni, president and owner of Blue Goose.  "I have always been a craft beer enthusiast, and Blue Goose is hosting it's first Limited Release Beer Dinner at one of the best regional American kitchens in the Midwest, The Finery and Blacksmith Bar. It's a great partnership between two organizations that just care about the enjoyment that good food brings. This event is about flavor, taste, and experience, and it's going to be a lot of fun."

Blue Goose Market and The Finery invite craft beer lovers, or those just interested in learning more about craft beer, to their 6-course dinner with beer pairings from Firestone Walker, arguably one of the best brewers.  "Firestone Walker has some really great beers with interesting and complex tastes, so this was an exciting menu to develop," said David Reyes, chef and owner of The Finery & Blacksmith Bar.  The event kicks-off the 10th American Craft Beer Week: May 16-22.
