Part 4 of 4: Jim Beam Red Stag in The Field

Add it to coffee or cider!

After reviewing Red Stag at home and creating two drinks, we decided to learn how other people enjoy Red Stag.  While enjoying Happy Hour on Friday after work, I decided to talk with other people to learn their preferences.  O’Malley’s in Aurora is our bar of choice for Friday Happy Hour, and there is a large group of regulars there with us.  While discussing favorite fall drinks, I asked my coworker John if he has had Red Stag.  He excitedly told me about his favorite ways to drink it.  He prefers warm drinks, so he typically drinks it with coffee or hot cider. Naturally I went home and tried both, while I enjoyed both I preferred it with hot cider.

Level of difficulty: low

Ingredients: Jim Beam Red Stag and coffee or hot cider

Tools: jigger and coffee mug

  1. Brew a cup of coffee or hot cider
  2.  Pour 1 ½ ounce Jim Beam Red Stag into the mug
  3. Enjoy!
