“Grandma’s Treat”

Part 3 of 4: Signature Drink 2: “Grandma’s Treat” using Jim Beam Red Stag

We have decided to make it easy for everyone this week, no muddling or shaking required. I’m excited to be able to use my all-time favorite soda in this week’s drink: ginger ale. Growing up, we used to only have ginger ale at grandma’s house, but today we are learning it pairs well with everything.

Level of difficulty: Easy

Ingredients: Jim Beam Red Stag, ginger ale or seasonal cranberry ginger ale, cherries, and limes.

Tools: jigger or pour spout, spoon, and a pint glass

1.       Cut the lime into quarters.

2.       Fill pint glass with Ice.

3.       Add  1 ½ ounces of Jim Beam Red Stag

4.       Squeeze lime into glass and leave remains in glass.

5.       Add cherry and a small spoonful of cherry juice.

6.       Pour ginger ale or seasonal cranberry ginger ale and stir ( garnish optional)

7.       Enjoy!
