~A Little Fuel For the Fire~ ~A Little Fuel For the Fire~

Four courses of fall fare and cocktails to compliment.

Rosé Sangria with Cranberries and Apples

This is a strong but not too sweet sangria is spiced with cinnamon, anise and cloves to give it that warm, cozy fall flavor. Cinnamon is anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, anticancer, lipid-lowering, and cardiovascular-disease-lowering and it increases blood flow- wakes your body up and gets you toasty.

Want something you can wrap both hands around? Serve in a warmed mug (let boiling water sit in the mug to warm it up and skip the ice.)

~ A Little Appeteaser~

White Bean-Tahini Puree with Toasted Pitas

This protein-packed snack is easy to make and goes a long way.

The navy beans, olive oil, garlic and spices in this dish help support a healthy immune system, nervous system, and fight inflammation. It’s also delicious!

~For a more healthy option serve with veggies.

~For a more savory option, serve with Rosemary Chips

~The Main Event~

Harvest Chicken Roast with Goat Cheese with Parsnip Chips (fries)

We all know October is Breast Cancer awareness Month, and we’ve all heard about the ill effects of red meat. So let’s change up our protein sources. In addition to beans, free-range chicken is a healthy alternative to a beef roast or steak. This savory harvest roast is seasonally adorned with rosemary and sage, and the parsnip fries are baked and sprinkled with garam masala- a common North Inidan spice mixture and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

~Tabula Rasa~

An Italian-Style Pallette Cleansing Citrus Punch

This crisp, fresh cocktail is a great way to cleanse your palette for the next course- out with the savory and in with the sweet!

Only 3 INGREDIENTS and a garnish!

    75 oz Gin

    3 oz Sparkling Lemon Soda

    3 oz Prosecco

Garnish with lemon twist and a cranberry

~An Elegant Pear~

Riesling Baked Pears

Pears in this recipe are oven-poached in Riesling with an orange zest.

Riesling is known for its floral accents and typically carries hints of honey and pear, bringing out the natural flavors of the fruit.

Orange zest (peel) has almost twice the vitamin C as the juice itself without the sugar. It also has minerals in it like Zinc that help support a healthy immune system.

This decadent dessert is likely to be a crowd-pleaser and its fairly simple to make.
