Bourbon Smash

We’re celebrating national Bourbon month!

This mint and citrus combination blends well with the bourbon, and the simple syrup and honey add a touch a sweetness. This is designed as a sipper, please enjoy as such.

Level of Difficulty:  Easy

Ingredients needed: bourbon, lemon, simple syrup, honey, mint

Tools needed: shaker, muddler or wooden spoon, rocks glass


1.    Cut the lemon into quarters and pick 8 -10 mint leafs

2.       Muddle two quarters of the lemon in the shaker

3.       Add 2 oz bourbon, ¾ oz simple syrup, 1 tablespoon of honey, 7-9 mint leafs, and ice to the shaker

4.       Shake and strain into the rocks glass (already filled with ice)

5.       Slap 1 mint leaf between hands and place on top to garnish (optional add lemon slice)

6.       Enjoy!
