Fox River Distilling Company releases Bennett Mill Bourbon

The first from what will be a series of whiskeys produced by the company.
Fox River Distilling released its long awaited BENNETT MILL BOURBON on Friday August 7th at 5:30 PM. The release coincided with the company’s First Friday Event at the distillery which has quickly become a monthly tradition since the doors opened to the public last year.
This expression is targeted to those that prefer a smoother taste and easy drinkability. It has notes of caramel, vanilla and cinnamon and is on the sweet side of traditional bourbons which makes it appealing to those that prefer it to be served neat or on the rocks, but it is equally at home in a classic cocktail like a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.
FOX RIVER DISTILLING COMPANY’s Vice President, Amy Orlando describes this as “the perfect Bourbon whiskey for everyone, even those new to the spirit. The smooth character appeals to those that are just getting into appreciating Bourbons and or Whiskey in general”.
Bourbon is growing at an unprecedented rate across the US and the rest of the world and the rise of Craft Distilling is paving the way for consumers to enjoy a greater variety of locally produced high quality products. This is the way that people bought their distilled spirits before prohibition when there was a distillery in almost every major town.
BENNETT MILL BOURBON is 90 proof (45% alcohol by volume) and will be sold in 750 ML bottles. The bottle design and history of BENNETT MILL was the result of a collaboration between FOX RIVER DISTILLING COMPANY and the Geneva History Museum whose information and archives inspire all of the company’s brands.
