Beer & Bacon Breakfast at Nosh

For their third beer breakfast Nosh, 211 James Street, Geneva is featuring bacon and beer, the perfect marriage of everyone's favorite food and drink!

On Saturday, November 23 at 1:30 pm Nosh will serve 4 courses of food, all bacon in nature, paired with 4 microbrews.

The first course will be Nosh's take on bacon hash, followed by maple bacon pancakes and then Nosh's latest invention, the Hangover Benedict; a cheesy biscuit topped with a poached egg and smothered in bacon sausage gravy.

For dessert they are serving a secret concoction of bacon ice cream, made specially for Nosh by Graham's, 302 S Third Street, Geneva. The companion beers will be an eclectic blend of local ales and dark lagers, to compliment the savory flavor of the bacon and sweet accents of maple.
Nosh's first beer breakfast, which took place in April, was early in the morning on Saturday and although the event as a whole was fantastic, a few patrons mentioned the struggle of drinking beer so early in the morning.

Attendance was limited to 20 people for the first event. Their follow-up meal was in August and they moved the start time to 1:30 pm, with a great response from all 38 attendees!

"The atmosphere in the dining room was much more relaxed than the first and diners were able to take their time instead of heading into a busy day!", said Nosh's owner, Mike Dixon, a Geneva resident. "We're excited for this event, because everyone loves bacon and beer. It's just an obvious marriage of two amazing flavors!"
