McNally’s plans for move across the Fox River
Owners of McNally’s Traditional Irish Pub are confident its customer base won’t be damaged in the two months it should take them to move the restaurant west of the Fox River in downtown St. Charles.
“We’re very confident because of the feedback we’re getting from customers right now and the success we’ve had in the past,” co-owner Cathal Conaty said.
Owners plan to close McNally’s, 201 E. Main St., on March 27. They hope to reopen on Memorial Day weekend at 109 W. Main St., former home of Miguel’s On the Fox.
The building was purchased for $530,000, according to the Kane County Recorder’s Office.
The move was prompted by an expiring lease and a desire to obtain outdoor dining, a feature the owners have wanted to offer the customers, Conaty said.
