Set 'em up, Joe: Two more Elgin bars are seeking the city's permission to stay open until 3 a.m.

According to public information officer Susan Olafson, the city's liquor control commission recently agreed to move along consideration of later hours for Gasthaus Zur Linde in downtown Elgin and for JB's Pub along South McLean Boulevard. The measure should be up for a vote at Wednesday's city council meeting, Olafson said.
