Fishermen in the Chesapeake Bay call the little blowfish that swims there a sugar toad — sweet as sugar and ugly as a toad, they say. The SugarToad is also the name of a restaurant in Naperville's swanky Hotel Arista, owned by executive chef Jimmy Sneed. The SugarToad is approaching its one-year anniversary in September.

The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, said manager Joe Mayor.

Breakfast items include five different omelets including a make-your-own, eggs, cereals, fruits and French toast. The price range for breakfast is between $8 and $16, Mayor said. Every breakfast arrives with complimentary pastries, and there's also a continental breakfast consisting of pastries.
