Cantigny’s Art in Bloom festival goes interactive

On Father’s Day weekend, more than 75 artists will display their work among
the blooming gardens of Cantigny Park in Wheaton.

The park boasts one of the largest display gardens in the Midwest.  Adding to
its beauty, Cantigny annually celebrates a popular fine art  festival. Art in
Bloom runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 18, and 10  a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday,
June 19.
Though Art in Bloom is an annual Cantigny tradition, this year’s  festival
will be different, said Laura Evans, director of visitor  services.
Cantigny staff now is producing the festival; in years past,  a Chicago-area
company has put the pieces together. The change allows  Cantigny to personalize
the festival, showcasing the park and offering  more for patrons, Evans said.
