The Golden Dragon Acrobats are coming to The Hemmens Cultural Center in downtown
Elgin on Sunday, February 13th at 2:00 and 6:00pm to showcase the ancient art of
Chinese Acrobatics in a show of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty.

The contortionists, tumblers and jugglers of The Golden Dragon  Acrobats have
dazzled families all across the globe. Sunday is also Have  A Heart Day in
Elgin. Join the city as it celebrates and receive a 10%  discount off Golden
Dragon Acrobats tickets and a FREE skate rental  coupon with a donation of

The Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of a time honored  tradition that
began more than twenty-five centuries ago. The troupe’s  creator, producer and
director, Danny Chang, comes from a long line of  acrobats. His father, Mr.
Chang Lien Chi, founded the Chinese Golden  Dragon Acrobats in Taiwan. Danny
Chang started his acrobatic career at  the age of seven, and after apprenticing
with his father for 17 years,  inherited the troupe in 1985 and brought it from
a small group to a  world renowned company.
