Geneva dismisses 
24 teachers

Geneva school officials approved the dismissal of 24 nontenured teachers Monday,
for the 2011-12 school year.

Officials said the annual action for first-, second- and third-year 
probationary full-time teachers allows the district to consider changes  in
staffing needs for the new year.
