Park District Receives Sculpture Donation

Welcome home Shelly!

The St. Charles Park District welcomed Sheldon ‘Shelly’ Eggwards to his new home in Pottawatomie Park today. Generously donated by the Sterling ‘Stu’ Ainsworth Family, the sculpture is located along the pathway by the miniature golf course. Sculpted by artist Kimber Fiebiger, who also created Mr. Eggwards permanently located in Mt. St. Mary Park, one might say these two gentlemen eggs are related. Either way, their charismatic features welcome anyone to take a selfie. Be sure to Tag Us on Instagram or Like Us on Facebook with @stcparkfoundation. The St. Charles Park Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that supports Sculpture in the Park, a joint project of the two organizations to raise awareness of the sculptural arts and the beautiful parks in downtown St. Charles.
