The St Charles Arts Council Announces New Pop-Up Galleries

Participating Artists and Opening/Artist Reception

The St Charles Arts Council is pleased to announce the opening of NEW Pop-Up Galleries – featured events of the 8th Annual ArtsFest | St. Charles.  The Arts-Fest Pop-Up Gallery – participating in the city-wide Gallery Crawl – will be opening at 311 North 2nd Street, Suite 100, St. Charles (between Jalisco Tacos and E & S Fish Company) on Friday, Sept 7.

The following artists will have their work in the ArtsFest Pop Up Gallery at N. 2nd St.

The SCAC also curated the Art in Public Places Show at the Library Mezzanine Gallery – featuring the work of Kaz Ayukawa, Gregory Chapman, Peggy Sue Seehafer, Todd Willing, and the Library and the Art on the Walls Show at Fox.Build (11 E. Main Street) – featuring the work of Felicia Raschke

The ArtsFest Gallery at N. 2nd Street will open for the Artist/Opening Reception, Friday, September 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. and will run through Saturday, September 29. Please stop by to see a fantastic gallery and enjoy the reception while you wander through eight rooms of nearly 100 pieces of visual art and poetry.  The entire Gallery Crawl encompasses 11 galleries/ exhibitions.  Make a day or night of it – add your Gallery Crawl destinations to Jazz Weekend, Steel Beam Theatre’s GIRLS NIGHT! show, the Poetry Crawl, the Live Art Open House at the Keep and ALL of the ARTS, ALL over TOWN!
