Agency’s name now VNA Health Care
VNA of Fox Valley has changed its name.
The agency, which has been providing health care in the Fox Valley for more than 90 years, announced Monday that it is changing its name immediately to VNA Health Care.
“We believe the name VNA Health Care allows us to better represent the range of services we offer today and yet reflects our historical roots,” said Linnea Windel, president and CEO of VNA.
The organization, formerly called the Visiting Nurse Association of the Fox Valley, was founded in 1918 and provides health care to more than 50,000 patients across all its service areas. VNA provides primary health care through VNA Health Centers, located in Aurora and Elgin, and comprehensive nursing-based care through VNA Home Care, VNA Hospice and VNA Housecalls. The Elgin clinic is at 620 Wing St.
