Pending annexation stirs LaFox residents

A battle is brewing in Campton Hills over the impending annexation of about 20 acres in unincorporated LaFox.
The property, owned by Stephen Ciampi, 2N190 Harley Road, is proposed for a residential development. County Board member Drew Frasz, R-Elburn, and Michael Jessen, president of the LaFox Civic Association, say the issue is not the proposed development, but the annexation.
