Towne Centre development plan revisions to be shared

Howard Street resident Vanessa LaSota has quietly tracked the progress of the St. Charles Towne Centre, but she feels it’s time for her to finally speak up.

Her concerns include increased traffic, heights of the buildings and the planned mixed-use district zoning request.

“Once that door is opened, there’s no shutting it,” said LaSota, a member of the Near West Neighborhood Association, a citizens group vocal about the proposed development.
